Remembrance Day Flag.

Our Lest We Forget 4 soldiers flag is part of our Remembrance Day flag collection. This day was originally called ‘Armistice Day’. This day marks the end of World War One on the 11th day, of November at 11am in 1918. The Remembrance Day Flag depicts 4 soldiers with poppies.

There is a Remembrance Sunday each year that falls on the second Sunday in November and is marked all across the UK and abroad. On this day, a 2-minute silence is held to remember the soldiers that lost their lives in the war.

Remembrance Day ceremonies are held at war memorials, churches and cenotaphs throughout the entire of the UK as well as abroad. The Royal Family and top politicians go to The Cenotaph in the Whitehall in London for the remembrance memorial service. The poppy is the symbol of the end of World War One and replicas of poppies are sold around this time in support of war veterans.
